Toronto based producer Acote aka Jeff-Antoine Cote conjures up a special blend of percussive heavy UK Funky inspired breaks and minimal modular synth melodies for the 10th release of Toronto based label Stereo Ferment.

With a background in Afro-Cuban and Egyptian drumming, Acote threads his interest for various afrocentric rhythms with his love for modular synth sound design in this four track EP titled
“Bo Tie”.
Presenting a collection of bouncy, dancefloor friendly, bass infused tracks that are thoughtfully composed with live hardware jams, chopped up samples and intricate dubbed out soundscapes.

In his 3rd EP release Acote expands his repertoire with a conscious effort to merge his dark tonal characteristics with playful tropical abstractions. Resulting in a tasteful collection of tunes primed for an adventurous dancefloor.
